CCS Team Wins National Hackathon Championship
A team of five Computer Science students from the College of Computer Studies secured first place at the National Collegiate Hackathon 2025. The team developed an innovative solution addressing water resource management using AI and IoT technologies.
The winning project, "AquaAlert," uses machine learning algorithms to predict water quality issues and provide early warnings to communities. The team was awarded a ₱200,000 prize and will represent the Philippines in the upcoming Southeast Asian Developers Summit.
