The College of Computer Studies at Saint Joseph College, Maasin City has been at the forefront of technology education in Southern Leyte for over 20 years. Offering three CHED-recognized programs — BSCS, BSIT, and the Associate in Computer Technology (ACT-CS & ACT-IT) — the department is home to 14+ dedicated faculty members, 14 PhilNITS passers, and a growing community of students committed to excellence in computing and information technology.

CCS Students Pass PhilNITS — Faculty Member Tops 1,612 Examinees Across 6 Countries
Fourteen CCS students passed the PhilNITS IT Passport Examination held at the college’s Audio-Visual Room on October 27, 2024 — while part-time faculty member Mr. Jonathan F. Tse, MBA earned the highest score among all 1,612 examinees across 6 ITPEC member countries. A proud milestone for the entire CCS community at Saint Joseph College.

CCS Now Offers 3 Programs: BSCS, BSIT & Associate in Computer Technology
The College of Computer Studies at Saint Joseph College offers three academic programs — giving students flexible pathways into the technology field. The Associate in Computer Technology (ACT) is the foundational 2-year program: ACT-CS leads to BSCS, and ACT-IT leads to BSIT, before students progress into the full four-year degrees.
